Due to frequent complaints coming our way about the practices of a different organization, Greenpeace USA and credit-card charging, Greenpeace Foundation has phased out its pledge program even though ours was operated responsibly for 30 years with no complaints.

This organization, Greenpeace Foundation, has NO charge card numbers in its possession and has not charged anyone’s card, even with permission, in years. Rather, ALL of our charge card donations have for some time gone through either Network for Good or Helping.org, independent organizations dedicated to accountability and safety in donations.

Greenpeace Foundation is, as this site describes, unaffiliated with Greenpeace USA and does not conduct canvas campaigns, direct mail fundraising, or phone campaigns.

It’s worse than annoying to hear dozens of complaints each week about the way the Greenpeace USA fundraising operations are apparently being operated. So we make this gesture in solidarity with those who may believe they have been poorly treated by Greenpeace USA.

All credit card donations to Greenpeace Foundation are done through “Network for Good”. We do not charge people’s charge cards and have not for some time.
